Falling for Maroon

Since temperatures began to drop and Pumpkin Spice Lattes returned to coffeeshops everywhere, I've been gravitating to maroon pieces for the Fall season. Maroon with its deep hue looks warm and so inviting. Between the official beginning of fall and now, my wardrobe has easily gained no less than five new maroon pieces: a tunic sweater, a sleeveless turtle neck sweater, a light cardigan, a floral print blouse and a plain maroon blouse blouse. Just about any color pairs perfectly with maroon, making it a perfect color addition to your wardrobe. I often wear maroon with my go-to neutral faves.

Maroon for Fall

On a cool day, I'll reach for a sweater to top off an outfit and layer on my fur vest or a light jacket. I purchased my own faux fur vest from Old Navy this season, but it sold out quickly! This one from H&M (above) is in the same color and also has pockets which I love! My go-to fall boots are these light brown booties which I can wear all day long from brunch to shopping to movie night. They're pictured above and are Lucky Brand. I've yet to scoop up my very own pair of OTK boots and have my eye on these beautiful ones from Stuart Weitzman. What staples are your go-to for Fall and which pieces do you have your eye on?
