Kitchen: Morrocan Chicken Stew with Sweet Potatoes


I usually try to cook up a nice dinner, something new for me, two times during the week which I later can pack for lunches. My favorite protein is chicken so I'm always on the lookout for yummy stews and recipes featuring it. After searching through Martha Stewart's website, I found this recipe for a Moroccan stew that melded the flavors of chicken and sweet potatoes with ginger and cinnamon. Making the stew was so easy and I just loved how it spelled throughout cooking. The finished stew was so flavorful and the aroma was spicy and sweet. The fresh cilantro was a great add and the chicken and sweet potatoes were so tender. I served my stew over rice.
